Louise Hamilton

Service for Louise L. Hamilton, 90, longtime resident of Cleburne and former co-owner of Hamilton Furniture Store, will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, December 7, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00 prior to services. Louise passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Keene. She was born to Sydney and Sally Shwadlenak Young on March 3, 1923 in Dexter, Texas. Louise married Randy Hamilton on August 31, 1940 in Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Cleburne. Louise was a lady in every sense of the word, who gave full heartedly to those she loved. She enjoyed spending time outdoors or in the kitchen baking her famous fruitcakes or quail and gravy. Her loving spirit and inspirational character will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Zane Hamilton; and siblings, Bill, John and Sydney Young, and Mildred Pickle. Survivors include her children, Billie Kelley and husband, Gerald., Randy Hamilton, II and wife, Kay, and Gary Hamilton and wife, Lisa; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and another on the way; 4 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
