Funeral mass for Luciano D. Sanchez, 48, of Austin will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 27, 2012 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cleburne. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home with Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Luciano D. Sanchez, 48, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012, in Austin, after a long illness with family and friends surrounding him. He was born Sept. 26, 1963 in Barstow, Calif. He grew up in Barstow and graduated from Cleburne High School. He spent a number of years in Oklahoma before returning to Austin to live with family. He enjoyed all sports and sporting events. He could recall games and dates of many athletic events. He was very loving and carefree about life. He loved spending time with his daughters and especially his grandson, Mason. His love of life and laughter will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his two daughters, Brittany Joy Peebles and husband, Gary and Kara Jo Sanchez; grandson, Mason Dale Peebles; parents, Louie and Hope Sanchez of Austin; brothers and sisters, Louie Sanchez, Jr. of Chula Vista, Calif, Elizabeth Vecchiet of Austin, Monica Franzone of Gales Ferry, CT, Patrick Sanchez of Haslet, Stella Sanchez of Austin, Yvonne Kall of San Antonio, Richard Sanchez of Austin; Gabriel Sanchez and Michael Sanchez, both of McDade; and many nieces and nephews.
