Service for Lyn Sweet, 64, of Godley will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 5, 2012 in the Godley United Methodist Church. Pastor Rudy Rudewick will officiate. Committal will be at 10:15 A.M., Friday in the DFW National Cemetery in Grand Prairie. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sweet passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 in Cleburne. She was born May 4, 1947 in Burlington, VT to Clifton and Dorene Trombly. She married John Sweet.

Mrs. Sweet was a retired bookeeper and a member of Godley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, John Sweet; daughter, Michelle Cash and husband Jason of Haslet and grandchildren, Jacob Keller and Micayla Cash; daughters, Lisa Doud of Naugatuch, CT and Maureen Falco of CT; step daughters, Diane Sweet of Seymour, CT and Donna Treffery of Naugatuch, CT; stepson, Shawn Sweet and wife Jessica of Naugatuch, CT and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other realtives and friends.
