Graveside service for Mae Aulds, 93, of Joshua, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Friday, May 27, 2016 in Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Brooks Monk. Visitation will be from 4-5:30 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home. Mae Aulds passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in Keene. She was born May 28, 1922 in Birmingham, AL to Alford Joshua and Barbrie Hanvey Moore. She married Virgil Aulds on January 12, 1958 in Weatherford and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2001. Mrs. Aulds was owner and operator of Aulds Snack Bar in Cleburne for 12 ½ years before retiring. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Ann King of Joshua; son, Clayton Ashworth and wife Carol on Reno, NV; four grandchildren, Kim Marak, Nata Ann Jones, Dale Ashworth, Jr., and Travis Ashworth; six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dale Ashworth in 2005; and eleven brothers and sisters.
