Service for Marilyn Davis Moore Cartwright, 79, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:30 P.M., Monday, March 16, 2015 at Lane Prairie Baptist Church. The Reverend Jerry Clements and the Reverend Lucus Mackey will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-5:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home. Marilyn Davis Moore Cartwright passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Ft. Worth. She was born September 16, 1935 in Cleburne to Floyd Raymond and Cleatus Basham Davis. She married Bobby Farris Moore on December 25, 1953 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death on June 27, 2001. She then married Jerry Cartwright on December 20, 2003 and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2015. Mrs. Cartwright was a homemaker and had 15 years of service as a library aide for the Joshua ISD. She was a member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Lori Marie Smith and husband Roger of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and five grandchildren, Madeline, Millie, MaryGrace, George, and Peter Smith. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Lance Moore in 1984; and brother, Julian Davis in 2007. Memorials may be made to North Central Texas Academy, c/o Happy Hill Farm, 3846 N.
