Martha Jewell Culver

Service for Martha Jewell Jernigan Culver, 78, of Godley will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Godley Western Fellowship. Pastor Don DeFoor will officiate. Burial will be in Godley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joey Bullard, Glen Steward, Glen Jernigan, Terry Lenz, Kenny Lenz, and Jerry Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be Kole Lenz and Kane Lenz. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home. Martha Jewell Jernigan Culver passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in Godley. She was born June 14, 1937 in Saginaw to Jasper Don and Laura Gethel Belew Jernigan. She married Paul Culver on August 22, 1997 in Cleburne. Mrs. Culver was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and homemaker. She enjoyed collecting roosters and listening to gospel music. She was of the Baptist faith and will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband, Paul Culver; son, Eddie Maxwell and wife Jimmie; daughter, Carol Cappers; grandchildren, Jody Maxwell and wife Janet, Ashley Anderson and husband Shawn, Keri Lenz and husband Terry, and Bradly Cappers and wife Brittanye; eight great grandchildren, Kenneth, Kane and Kole Lenz; Ryanne, Reagan and Preston Maxwell; Brooklyn and Brianne Anderson; siblings, Don Jernigan, Gene Jernigan and wife Margaret, and Edna Buckner; beloved dog, Sandy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
