Services for Mary Ballenger, 76, of Keene will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in the Craig County Community Center in Vinita, Okla. Burial will be in McLaughlin Cemetery in Cleora, Okla. Visitation was held Monday, from 6-8:00 P.M. at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Mrs. Ballenger passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was born Jan. 19, 1937 in Craig County, Okla. to Lamoine Michael and Elsie Velma Jackson Farrell. She married Arvel Loy Ballenger. Mrs. Ballenger worked as a secretary for Keene Public High School for 20 years before retiring. She was a member of First Christian Church in Cleburne. Survivors include her husband, Loy Ballenger of Keene; son, Lonnie Ballenger and wife Mandy of Cleburne; four daughters, Tammy Malone of Vinita, Okla., Vicki Roulet and husband Dennis of Vinita, Okla., Lori Saunders and husband David of Waxahachie, and Carri Stanley of Cleburne; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lamoine and Elsie Farrell; sister, Patricia Sanchez and brother, Jack Farrell.
