Graveside service for Mary E. Collum, 79, of Joshua will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitaiton will be from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Collum passed away on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 in Ft. Worth. She was born April 19, 1932 in Wichita Falls, TX to Bernice and Gracie Parks Turner. She married Gene Cory Collum Sr on Jan. 19, 1945 in Ft. Worth. Mary was a professional cook who enjoyed working with ceramics and singing. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her sons, Gene T. Collum of San Antonio, Rickey L Collum and wife Donna of Plano and Jerry D. Collum and wife Renell of Cromwell, CT; grandchildren, Crystal Collum, Robert Collum, Gene Troy Collum, Sean Collum, Michelle Collum, Nichole Collum and Jacob Collum; great grandchildren, Alexandra Buffham, Austin Buffham, Max McKey and Mathew McKey and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gene C. Collum in 1998.
