Graveside service for Melton S. Taylor, 68, of Ft. Worth will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 in Caddo Cemetery in Joshua. No visitation is scheduled. Mr. Taylor passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012 in Ft. Worth, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 15, 1943 in Eastland County, TX to John Oquin and Kathryn Mae Dixon Taylor. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two brothers, Claude Franks of Joshua and Jerry Franks and wife Laura of Burleson; 12 nieces and nephews and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Taylor; mother Kathryn Franks; step father, C.L. Franks; two sisters, Linda Taylor and Judy Lolly and two brothers, James Taylor and Marvin Taylor.
