Service for Mervin J. Hatch, 81, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:30 A.M., Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Viewing will be 10:30 -11:30 A.M. at the church. Burial will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, March 5, 2020 in the DFW National Cemetery. Mervin J. Hatch passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born April 30, 1938 in Vernal, Utah to Mervin and Maggie Jessie (Atwood) Hatch. Mervin married Joyce Ray Rickard on June 11, 1960 in Fort Worth. Before retiring he was a machinist in Aerospace industry. Mervin was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Mervin is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Hatch of Cleburne; sons, Bill Hatch and Sandy of Marathon, Florida, Robert Hatch and wife Tracy of Knoxville, Maryland, Michael Hatch and wife Aimee of Fort Worth, Kevin Hatch of Austin; grandchildren, Alyssa Hatch of Rudy, Arkansas, Jessie Cleveland and husband Jared of Provo, Utah, Kylie Hatch of Knoxville, Maryland, Emily Hatch of Knoxville, Maryland, Rylee Hatch of Fort Worth, Aubrie Hatch of Fort Worth, Jacob Hatch of Fort Worth; great grandchildren, Valen and Daven Popa of Rudy, Arkansas; siblings, Gloria Langston and husband Bill of Azle, Tony Dowden and wife Keith of Euless and Dan Hatch and Opal of Lubbock. Mervin is preceded in death by his father, Mervin Hatch; mother Jessie Dowden; sister Linda Roden and brother Jody Dowden.
