Service for Michael William Tiwater, 71, of Alvarado will be conducted 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Ward Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home . Michael was born April 15, 1948 in Fort Worth to Jim Homer and Mary Smith Tiwater. Michael left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior November 17, 2019. He was a great man who loved and took care of all his family. He enjoyed working on engines, fishing, playing dominoes, but mostly just being with his grandbabies and the rest of his family. He loved to talk to everyone. Mike was a diesel mechanic with TXI before his retirement. Later, he worked in maintenance. He was so excited when he got his pool certification. He was of the Baptist faith. Michael is survived by his wife, Shirley Carr Tiwater; sons, Michael Tiwater and dear Jenifer Williams, Ricky Tiwater and wife Rachel, Travis Tiwater and wife Shasta; grandchildren, Caden, Jace, Reagen, Bailey, Kaitlyn, Jett, Tate, Ashton, Dalton, Braden, Hunter, Austin, Brandon; great-grandchildren, Krystal and Conner Lafountain; brother, David Tiwater and wife Cynthia; sisters Susan Tiwater, Marla Adams and husband Marty, Tammy Smith; numerous nieces and nephews, greats and great- greats and many other extended family and friends who will so miss the man he was. And his beloved dog Bella Ann. Michael is preceded in death by his parents.
