Service for Mike Butler, 58, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 15, 2015 in the Bethel Temple Assembly of God. The Reverend Mike Mizell will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home. Mike Butler passed away June 9, 2015 in Cleburne. He was born April 19, 1957 in New London, CT to Martin and Lena Lincoln Butler. He married Debi L. Basye on May 5, 1978 in Rio Vista. Mr. Butler was a truck driver for Ronnie West Trucking and attended Bethel Temple Assembly of God. He enjoyed NASCAR; Winstar; and automobiles. He loved playing with his grandchildren and was a “Pa Pa” to all the kids. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, Debi L. Butler; children, April Streun and husband William, and Jack Butler and wife Kattie, all of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Summer, Haylee, Colten, Alex, Shiloh, Jayden, and Elijah; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
