Service for Nelda Rae Sembera Gerbine, 77, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 10, 2016 at College Heights Baptist Church. The Reverend Mark Ely will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home. Nelda Rae Sembera Gerbine passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in Ft. Worth. She was born Jan. 18, 1939 in Bryan to Alton Ray, Sr. and Odessa Mae Tanner Sembera. She married Perry Gerbine on Feb. 13, 1988 in Elysian Fields. Mrs. Gerbine was a retired administrative assistant at the Woman’s Missionary Union BGCT and considered a close friend to many. She was a member of College Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Perry Gerbine; children, Lisa Arthurs and husband Frank, Cathy Glass, Susan Mitchell and husband Chris, Angela Gerbine, Stoney Gerbine and wife Holly, and Archie Gerbine and wife Annie; grandchildren, Chad, Max and wife Kristina, Megan, Shelby, Rachel, Frank, Katherine, Travis and wife Brittany, Tanner and wife Karah, Stephen, Audrey, Christina, Sarah, Milo, Abbey, Ashley and husband Zach, Blake and wife Brylynn, and Danielle; six great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Carper and husband Johnny, Betty Jo Hill and husband Mitch, and Mary Tipton and husband Dennis; sisters-in-law, Doris “Dee” Sembera and Marie Sembera. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donnie Kearns in 1993; brothers, Alton “Buddy” Sembera, Jr., Ervin Sembera, and Douglas Sembera.
