Norman F. Weir, 76, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in Cleburne. He was born August 4, 1939 in Lynn County, Texas to Lytle and Ruby Hock Weir. Mr. Weir served in the United States Air Force and worked as a welder until retiring. He was a loving father, grand and great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his children, Joe Weir of Cleburne, and Carol Downing and Lisa Allen, both of Grandview; grandchildren, Tera, Amanda, Jessica, Thomas, Ryan, and Tyler; four great grandchildren; brother, Don; sisters, Linda and Glenda; the mother of his children, Josephine Weir; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wayne and Leonard; and sister, Beulah. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
