Service for Oscar Odell Stewart, 86, of Godley was conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 along side his loving wife of over 60 years, Flora. Oscar Stewart passed away May 12, 2020 at his home. He was born December 19, 1933 in Haynesville, Louisiana to Orven O. and Blanchard E. (Pope) Stewart. He married Flora Belle Jones on December 19, 1959 in Ferriday, Louisiana. Oscar was a self-employed business owner in the Agriculture Aviation industry. Oscar and his wife Flora were members of the Godley United Methodist Church. Oscar and Flora were both veterans of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his son, Shelton Stewart of Godley; sister, Verbie Sumrall of Buech, Louisiana and a host of relatives and friends.
