Graveside service for Oscar Joe Stiggers, 61, of Dallas will be conducted at 2:15 P.M., Thursday, April 21, 2016 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Bishop Wadell Dean will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Oscar Joe Stiggers passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 in Cleburne. He was born June 27, 1954 in Dallas to Joe Cole and Oscar Mae Stiggers. He married Charlotte Ann Wright on March 3, 1985 in Dallas. Mr. Stiggers served in the United States Army. He was a self-employed mechanic and a member of Mt. Zion Temple in Dallas. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Ann Stiggers of Dallas; children, Jandalyn Wright of Cleburne and Tenisha Wright of Dallas; three grandchildren, Oscar Joe Stiggers, II, Dorian M. Potter, Jr., and Beckham Asher McGough; one great granddaughter, Avery Grace Stiggers; mother, Oscar Mae Crump of Dallas; one sister, Bernitta Scott of Dallas; one brother, Freddie Lewis of Dallas; nieces, LaFontra Cooks, LaShalette Brooks; nephew, Glentorence Cooks; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his fathers, Louis C. Crump and Joe Cole; and a grandson, Devion Marquez Potter.
