Graveside service for Patsy Ruth Dixon, 76, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, August 22, 2015 in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. The Reverend Brian McClure will officiate. Patsy Ruth Dixon passed away Wednesday August 19, 2015 in Keene. She was born March 19, 1939 in Cleburne to Richard T. and Viva Ozell Coggin Raines. She married Walter Britton “Chunky” Dixon on August 23, 1960 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death on November 9, 1995. Mrs. Dixon worked as a beautician for several years and was a caretaker of children with disabilities. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Curley-Q’s Square Dance Club, and Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include her aunt, Wanda Jean Burch of Hillsboro, cousins, Michelle Louise Hale of Hillsboro and Renea Smith and her husband, Dr. Wade Smith and their children, Brandie and Emily Smith of Cleburne; nephew, Billy Ray Dixon and wife Nina of Cleburne; and other numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Billy Louise Raines.
