Service for Patsy I. Jackson, 90, of Venus will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 25, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Corey Cornutt and the Reverend Rick Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Snowden, Jarod Snowden, Levi McDonald, Seth McDonald, Joshua McDonald, and Roy John McAlister. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home. Patsy I. Jackson passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Waxahachie. She was born April 26, 1926 in Johnson County to William Houston and Trannie Turner McAlister. She married James C. Jackson on April 16, 1946 in Ft. Worth and he preceded her in death on July 11, 2004. Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grand and great grandmother, and a friend to many. She was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Calvin H. Jackson and wife Rebecca of Columbia, TN and Dale Jackson and wife Debra of Alvarado; daughters, Janelle Moore and husband Bob of Cleburne, Jeanne Snowden Odle and husband Loren of Midlothian, and Jane McDonald and husband Randy of Hubbard; grandchildren, Micheal Jackson, April Thompson, Kimberly Epperson, Kristi Mendolia, Kerry Pape, Jacob Snowden, Jarod Snowden, Levi McDonald, Joshua McDonald, and Seth McDonald; 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
