Graveside service for Paul Vernon Roye, II, 81, of Keller will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, Mar. 23, 2016 at Live Oak Cemetery in Hill County. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Paul Vernon Roye, II passed away Friday, Mar. 18, 2016 in Keller. He was born Oct. 3, 1934 in Goatneck Community to Paul Vernon, Sr. and Mary Alice Burton Roye. He married Joann Opry on Dec. 8, 1957 in Goatneck and she preceded him in death on Sept. 14, 2015. Mr. Roye served in the United States Army and was a truck driver. He was also a loving, husband, Father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and a friend to many. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his sons, Lloyd Roye and wife Brandy of Bowie, Johnny Roye and wife Sandra of Decatur, Terry Roye and wife Samantha of Keller, and Paul Roye, III and wife Amy of Roanoke; daughters, Paula Click and husband Leo of Roanoke and Mary Sarnowski and husband Kenneth of New York, NY; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; brother, Byron Kirkland of Trinity; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two great grandchildren, Bentley Click and Kaleb Roye.
