Graveside service for Pearl V. Hampton, 81, of Alvarado will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the Tioga Cemetery in Tioga, TX. Chaplain Nancy Schneider will officiate. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 A.M., Saturday, at the funeral home, prior to the service. Pearl V. Hampton passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 in Keene. She was born April 25, 1934 in Dallas to Benjamin F. and Bonnie B. Parsley Holley. She married Clayton Leroy Hampton on January 13, 1951 in Dallas. Mrs. Hampton was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include her daughters, Peggy Houston of Cypress, Marsha Crocker of Sherman, Glenda Hughes of Alvarado, and Karen Newby of Alvord; son, Clayton Dale Holley of Alvarado; grandchildren, James Houston, Christy Hanes, Jennifer Renfro, Dan Hughes, Donny Hughes, Chester Newby, James Newby, John Newby, and Matt Newby; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayton Leroy Hampton in June of 1999, and numerous sisters and brothers.
