Service for Rickie Dee Smith, 58, of Blum will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 16, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Rickie Dee Smith, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in Waco. He was born January 25, 1957 in Oklahoma to Jimmie Dee and Jessie Bell Seward Smith. He married Ruby Camp on September 27, 1996 in Hunt County. He was a carpenter by trade.

Rickie is survived by his wife Ruby Smith of Blum; daughters Crystal Stokes and husband Ronnie of Oklahoma, Jessica Smith of Blum, Tiffany Minster of Blum and April Minster of Weatherford; grandchildren, Anthony Stokes, Hannah Stokes, Isabelle Smith and Justin Smith; brother, Gary Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters, Judy Cannadey of Quinlan, Jessie Baker of Quinlan and Johnnie Long of Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronnie Smith; and step-son, Jeffrey Minster.
