Mass of Christian burial for Rita Reeves, 91, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 23, 2015 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Sergio Rizo will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, with Rosary at 6:00 P.M. Margaret Ellen “Rita” Reeves passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Cleburne. She was born March 22, 1924 in Gayndah, Queensland, Australia to Patrick and Elizabeth Mary McDonnell Roche. She married James Aubrey Reeves on March 4, 1944 in Ipswich, Australia and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1988. Mrs. Reeves owned and operated the Four Seasons Hallmark Shoppe in Cleburne. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and Nana who will be missed greatly. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include her sons, James Reeves of Las Vegas, NV and John Reeves and wife Mindy of Cleburne; daughters, Paula Davis of Oklahoma City, OK, Diane Bamford of Newalla, OK and Lisa Grider and husband Rick of Davis, OK.; grandchildren, Donna and husband Mike, Kenny and wife Mindy, Stephen and wife Carole, Leesa, Eric and wife Jenny, Philip and wife Rebecca, Evan and Ethan; great grandchildren, Taylor, Brittany, Justin, Nicole, Megan, Jordyn, Erin, Motley, Layne, Mason, Macartney, and Matilee; brothers, Danny Roche and wife Joan and Peter Roche and wife Frances; sisters, Tricia Crozier and Sister Mary Roche; all of Australia; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Joseph Reeves; daughter, Margaret Ellen Reeves; sister, Monica Charles; and brothers-in-law, Neal Crozier and Reg Charles.
