A memorial service for R.J. Helton, 73, of Godley will be conducted at 12 Noon, Saturday, January 11, 2014 in the Crosier- Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Helton passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 in Godley. He was born June 21, 1940 in Malone to Robert Lloyd and Violet Elizabeth Roberts Helton. Mr. Helton was a farmer. He loved caring for his cattle on his farm near Bono. He was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include his two sons, Jimmy Helton and wife Tammy of Stephenville and Kenneth Helton and wife Terri of Lipan; daughter, Rita Marie King and two sisters, Mary Williams and Linda Martin; grandchildren, Brandon Helton and wife Rocky, Britney Helton, Baley Helton, and Bryson Helton; three step grandchildren; and a great grandchild, Aedan Helton.
