Service for Robert N. Booker, 72, of Joshua will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend John Whitworth will officiate. Pallbearers will be Robby Booker, Jeff Booker, Greg Booker, Scott Booker, Brian Booker, Colby Dorchester, Kyle Dorchester and Chris Clement. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Mr. Booker passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 in Ft. Worth. He was born Aug. 24, 1939 in Goldthwaite to Tom and Nina McNiel Booker. He married Paula Thompson on March 8, 1963 in Azle. Mr. Booker was an insurance claims adjuster for Crum and Forrester Insurance Company. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge no. 694 of Goldthwaite and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Paula Booker of Joshua; four children, Lorie Clement and husband Chris of Burleson, Robby Booker of Cleburne, Jeff Booker and wife Hope of Salado, and Greg Booker of Joshua; 17 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one brother, Roger Booker and wife Stella of Rockdale. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Barry Scott Booker in 1970; one sister, Tommie Ann Riggins and one brother, Max Booker.
