Roger Lee Holcomb, 67, of Burleson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 after a short fight with cancer. He was born June 21, 1946 in Parkersburg, WV to Lloyd and Marie Wine Holcomb. He married Janie Louise Oxenreider on August 19, 1967 in Fort Worth. Roger was an air force veteran who served his country in Vietnam before becoming the owner of a local hot rod shop called "Body by Roger" for over three decades in Burleson TX. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janie Louise Oxenreider Holcomb; son, Ritchie Lee & wife Sammi & grand dog Belle; daughter, Jenny Marie Ruth and husband Steve Allen and granddaughter, Mia Renae; brother, Donald Lloyd Holcomb Jr. and wife Barbara of SC; two sisters, Sharon Willey and husband Rick of Belpre, OH and Pamela Vierling and husband Randy of Little Hocking, OH; and many precious nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Marie Holcomb; and mother and father-in-law, Carl and Betty Oxenreider. The family will be accepting visitors on Friday from 6-8P.M. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Greenacres Memorial Park in Cleburne.
