Ronald Kummermehr

Celebration of Life Services for Ronald K. Kummermehr, 77, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 4:30 P.M. on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Comfort Inn Suites, 321 South Burleson Blvd., Burleson, Texas 76028. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. Mr. Kummermehr passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 in Cleburne. He was born to Kermit C. and Dorothy Marie Cange Kummermehr on May 12, 1935 in Belleville, Illinois. He married Patricia Joann Lamb on October 20, 1956 in East St. Louis, Illinois. He worked as a carpenter and contractor for many years and was of the Lutheran faith. Ronald was known as a joyful spirit and one who loved life. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his children. Ronald will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Patricia (Pat) Kummermehr; children and their spouses, Craig Kummermehr and Joice, Chris Kummermehr and Jodi, and Cathy (Skeeter) Wall and Ronnie; grandchildren, Courtney Mitchell and Jeremiah, Kendall Kummermehr, Zachary Kummermehr, Brayden Kummermehr, and Bryson Wall; great grandson, Carter Mitchell; sisters, Arlene Kummermehr and Bonnie Bodken; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
