Service for Ruby Lake McClure, 93, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 18, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Georges Creek Cemetery. There is no scheduled visitation. Ruby Lake McClure passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014 in Joshua. She was born Sept. 28, 1920 in Nemo to James Monroe and Hallie Alma Masters Russell. She married J.D. McClure on April 26, 1946 in Hillsboro and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1984. Mrs. McClure studied cosmetology. She, along with her husband, owned and operated South Main Gulf Service Station for a number of years. She also worked at Texas Instruments and Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation in the bomber plant. She was of the Christian faith. Survivors include her daughter, Lana S. Dalby and husband Chip; grandsons, Jay D. Dalby and Justin C. Dalby; great granddaughter, Chantel Dalby; brother, Charles F. Russell and wife Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Everret, Allen, and Jimmie D. Russell and a sister, Lula Kane.
