Graveside service for Ruby Schmidt Putnam, 99, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Rio Vista Cemetery. The Reverend Donna Ware will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home, prior to the service. Ruby Schmidt Putnam passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 in Cleburne. She was born March 10, 1915 in Caldwell, Texas to Paul and Alvina Lehde Schmidt. She married Junius Lee (Bill) Putnam and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1992. Mrs. Putnam was a homemaker and a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include her sons, Larry Putnam and wife Martha of Tucson, AZ and Stephen Putnam and wife Lori of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Brant Putnam and wife Karen and Ryan Putnam and wife Haley, Stephen Putnam and wife Jamie and Spencer Putnam; great grandchildren, Jack, Julie, Charlotte, and Emma Grace Putnam; sister, Dorothy Cavasa of Cleburne; two nephews; and several other friends and relatives.
