Rufus O. Kilcrease

A graveside service for Rufus O. “Pee Wee” Kilcrease, 81, of Grandview, will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. Saturday, October 10, 2020 in the Grandview Cemetery. Buddy Fry and David Kilcrease will officiate. Pallbearers will be Phillip Kilcrease, John Kilcrease, Timothy Schmidt, Dalton Kilcrease, Bryce Lawing, and Zachary Kilcrease. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Lawing, Donnie Riddell, Jeff Holliday, Cole Black, Kaden Roeber, J.D. Holliday, and Jimmy King. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. “Pee Wee” Kilcrease passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in Grandview. He was born March 17, 1939 in Rabbit Hill, Erath County to Rufus Rastus and Ila (Neal) Kilcrease. He married Emeline “Korky” Marie Eaves on July 20, 1962 in Alvarado, Texas. He was raised a farm boy and made his living as a truck driver for more than 60 years. Survivors include his wife, Korky; children, Monica Schmidt, Benjamin Eric Kilcrease, Ellen Riddell and husband Donnie, Julie Holliday and husband Jeff and Beth Lawing and husband Albert; grandchildren, Phillip Kilcrease and wife Beverly, John Kilcrease, Timothy Schmidt, Jessica Burrows and husband Adam, Catreana Kilcrease and husband Audie, Dalton Kilcrease, Savannah Riddell, Zachary Kilcrease and wife Skye, Alyson Paige Roeber, Courtney Roeber, Kayla Roeber, Kaden Roeber, J.D. Holliday and Bryce Lawing, 6 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding Mr. Kilcrease in death were his parents, Rufus and Ila Kilcrease; siblings, Charles F. Neal, Francis Kilcrease, and R. Arlin “Slim” Kilcrease.
