Service for Ruth Roye Prince, 83, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church. Pastor Mike Mizell will officiate, assisted by Pastor Brent Shields. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Roye, Steve Roye, Tony Pruitt, Todd Pruitt, Chris Pruitt and Eddie Davis. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Millikan. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Ruth Roye Prince passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 in Ft. Worth. She was born Jan. 8, 1933 in Electra to John Newton, Sr. and Molly Kuykendall Roye. She married William Frank Prince on Oct. 19, 1951 in Rio Vista and he preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 1999. Mrs. Prince was a Senior Vice President of Public Relations, retiring with 45 years of service at First State Bank of Rio Vista, better known as Cowpasture Bank. She was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her siblings, Ann Yates of Atalla, AL, John Roye and wife Mary and J.P. Caldwell and wife Kay, all of Gainesville, Rex Roye and wife Joy and Carl Roye and wife Joyce, all of Cleburne, Janice Pruitt and husband Woody of Hewitt and Gary Don Roye and wife Janice of Fayetteville, GA; and nieces and nephews, Ruth Ann, Donna Sue, Debbie, Lisa, Mitzi, Karen, Sherri, Paula, Sandra, Tena, Chris, Todd, Tony, Michelle, Mandy, Larry, Danny, Randy, Steve, and Shane. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John N. and Arveda Roye; biological mother, Molly Kuykendall Roye; sister, Mary Millikan; two nephews, Leon Millikan and Kevin Caldwell; and a niece, Carla Roye.
