Sandra Kathleen Jones Service for Sandra Kathleen Jones, 80, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 24, 2015 in the First Baptist Church of Cleburne. Dr. Daniel E. Crosby will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Jones, DeWayne Burns, David Davis, Glen Collins, Charles Strickland, and Doug Watson. Visitation will be from 3-5:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home. Sandra Kathleen Jones passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 in Cleburne. She was born January 26, 1935 in Paris, Texas to James Gayland and Kathleen Lusk Davis. She married Tom Frank Jones on March 15, 1952 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death in December of 2013. Mrs. Jones was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She liked to read and write poetry and short stories. She enjoyed playing Bridge with friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cleburne since 1943, where she taught a children’s Sunday school class for many years. Survivors include her sons, Duane Jones and wife Shnelle of Decatur and Cody Jones of Brazos Point; daughter, Suzi Ormsby and husband Floyd of Cleburne; nine grandchildren, Leslie, Amber, Stefany, Kendall, and Destiny Jones, Cassie Gillock, Mitzi Wegand and husband Zak, Jennifer Burns and husband DeWayne, and Julie Stevens and husband Keith; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Diane Wright. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Cleburne, 414 N. Main St., Cleburne, Texas 76033.
