Memorial services for Steven Craig Humphries, II, 25, of Corpus Christ and formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 7, 2013 in the Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Steven Craig Humphries, II, passed away in Live Oak County, Texas after a tragic automobile accident. He was born July 16, 1988 in Fort Worth to Steven Craig and Talitha Bailey Humphries. He was taking a break from working on his masters degree in biology at the time of his death. Craig was of Christian faith. He was a talented artist of many degrees and formats including painting and sketching. He was a self taught guitarist. He also sang and played the keyboard. His love of music was not limited to one genre, but included many. He was an animal lover to the degree that he even carried spiders out of the house. Steven was a true friend to others. He was blessed with the talent to encourage others, put a smile on their face and laughter in their hearts. He was a gifted story teller and minored in journalism. Craigs zest for life and loving nature will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved him. Survivors include his parents, Craig and Talitha Humphries; brother, Noah Humphries; grandparents, Claude and Lola Humphries; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and host of other relatives and friends, including his best friend, who was more like a brother to him, B.J.
