Memorial service for Thelma Dean Edwards, 79, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 29, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Thelma Dean Edwards passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 in Alvarado. She was born January 14, 1935 in Cleburne to Jim and Annie Smith Hart. She married Billy Frank Edwards on March 8, 1952 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death in 1996. Mrs. Edwards was a homemaker and a very loving and giving person. She enjoyed keeping up with her grandchildren and dancing. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Thelma will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her children, Sonny Edwards and wife Paula, Jamie Garner and husband Billy, Robert Edwards, and Lisa Moore and husband Steve; nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; sister, Stella Mae Clements; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Billy Wayne Edwards; daughter, Vicki Lynn Edwards; and siblings, Annell Minnick and Jim Hart.
