Graveside service for Travis (T.J.) Morrison, 80, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 29, 2014 in Rosehill Cemetery. Chaplain Eddy Carrell will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home. Mr. Morrison passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in Cleburne. He was born January 29, 1934 in Covington to John Houston and Eula Mae Wyatt Morrison. He married Betty Sifford on December 1, 1954 in Hermleigh, Texas. Mr. Morrison served in both the United States Army and then the United States Air Force in communications, retiring in 1990. He was an avid sports fan, especially horse racing. He enjoyed playing dominoes and talking politics. Travis was a member of Buell Baptist Church. His strong willed spirit and loving nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Betty Morrison; children, Jacky Morrison and wife Cindy, Matt Morrison and wife Jo, and Rachel Morrison; three granddaughters, Shiloh, Samantha and Bailey; great granddaughter, Zoey; brother, John C. Morrison and wife Deborah; sisters, Christine Davis and Mae Stephens and husband Newman. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Othell and Curtis Morrison.
