Troy Carper

Service for Troy "T.F." Carper, 86, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 1, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Carl Gorman will officiate. Burial will be in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Carper passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born Oct. 4, 1924 in Lone Willow to Thurman and Ona Hutchison Carper. He married Vera Williams on Nov. 28, 1958 in Ft. Worth. Mr. Carper served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired carman for the Santa Fe Railroad, a farmer and member of the American Legion Post #50 in Cleburne. He attended Lone Willow Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Vera Carper; son, Larry Carper and wife Becky; two grandsons, Trey and Tyler Carper; one great granddaughter, Treylynn Carper; brother, Joe Carper and wife Wanda, all of Cleburne and a host of other relatives and friends.
