Velma Rozelle Brown Strickland, 90, of Joshua, passed away May 8, 2020 at her home. She was born November 9, 1929 in Amarillo, Texas to Amos Benjamin and Bertha Cathrine (Wafford) Brown.She Married Francis Nead Strickland on July 12, 1945 in Dodge City, Kansas. She was a bookkeeper in the Dairy Industry. Velma Strickland loved her family. She was giving person who was always happy and smiling. Visiting with people was one of her favorite things. Santas and angels made her happy. She is survived by her children, Rozelle Goodman and husband Dan, Rickie Strickland, and Roseanna Sharp; 11 grandchildren; a number great- and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Hattie Mae Abramowitz and James B. Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; and brother, William J. Brown.
