Graveside service for Viola England, 94, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in Glenwood Cemetery. The Reverend A.J. Hillin will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tim Walker, Kurt Dinkins, Colten Garrett, Danny Alan, Tim Norman, and Rick Hickman. Visitation will be from 12 Noon-1:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home, prior to the graveside service. Viola England passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 in Alvarado. She was born October 4, 1919 in Dallas to James Henry, Sr. and Levy Benny Hardin Cox. She married Harold Webb England on October 16, 1948 in Fort Worth and he preceded her in death on November 6, 1992. Mrs. England worked as a receptionist for Clayton-Kay Funeral Home, retiring with more than 25 years of service. She was a member of Cahill Methodist Church. Survivors include her two sons, Brian James England of Fort Worth and Donald Webb England of Alvarado; two daughters, Jeanie England Walker and husband Eddy and Connie Huffman and husband Joe, all of Alvarado; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and three sisters.
