Graveside service for Virgil Lee Jones, 88, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in the Rosehill Cemetery. Pastor Joe Hall will officiate. Pallbearers will be Corey Talkington, Brandon Talkington, Dameon Heslip, Mayson Bowden, Cody Jones, and Brennan Jones. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home. Virgil Jones passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 in Cleburne, Texas. He was born October 31, 1931 in Rusk County, Texas to Lewis and Adelaide (Robinson) Jones. He married Linda Joyce Jones on September 28, 1981 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He retired from Rangaire as a supervisor after 52 years of service. He was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Linda Jones of Cleburne; children, Michael Jones of Cleburne, Angela Talkington and husband, Curtis of Haltom City, Douglas Jones and wife, Gina of Cleburne, Paula Flippin and husband, Michael of Hillsboro; sister, Juanita Bachoffer and husband, Jimmie of Kopperl; stepsons, Craig Tuley of Douglasville, Georgia and Jarrad Bowden of Cleburne; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents; and 4 siblings.
