Service for Wanda M. Taylor Napps, 77, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 12, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. R.D. Noel will officiate. Pallbearers will be Adam Napps, Barry Napps, Marti Carroll, Timothy Carroll, John Napps, J.R. Jackson and Joey Delgado. Honorary pallbearers will be Jessie Carroll and Max Wigington. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Cleburne Baptist Temple, P.O. Box 291, Cleburne, TX 76033 Wanda M. Taylor Napps passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 in Ft. Worth. She was born September 18, 1935 in Hill County to Casto T. and Carmine Young Taylor. She married Edward L. Napps on February 18, 1972 in Oklahoma and he preceded her in death in July of 1994. Mrs. Napps was a homemaker. She worked at Snow White Laundry for many years when she was younger. Wanda was an advocate for all MR kids. She helped start Camp Funshine and held a bowling tournament every year for kids in Temple. In Johnson County she helped start C.C. Cooke Developmental Center, Johnson County ARC and Johnson County TARC. She was very family oriented and active in her church. She was a member of Texas ARC at state and local levels for 40 years and Cleburne Baptist Temple. She loved garage sales and starting craft projects with her daughter and daughters-in-law. Her fun loving spirit and positive attitude will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her children, Jimmy Carroll and wife Melissa, Terry D. Carroll, Jay Carroll and wife Charlotte, Rick Napps and wife Cindy, Ronnie Napps and wife Delaine and Kelvin Napps and wife Dana; 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Wigington; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Cass Taylor.
