Service for William Porter "Bill" Glass, 76, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Gary Albritton will officiate. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Hight, Daryl Orrell, Preston Daniel, Larry Durham, Roger Trussell and Kenneth Teich. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Mr. Glass passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born Oct. 17, 1934 in Cleburne, to Newton Porter and Lota Gatewood Glass. He was the owner and operator of Glass Lumber Yard in Cleburne and a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Glass is survived by two daughters, Kerry Jackson of Taylor and Laurie Harris and husband David of Cleburne; five grandchildren, Ferrell Jackson, Jeff Jackson, Ellyn Jackson, Aubrey Harris and Abrian Harris; sister, Venis Geraghty.
