Service for Willie Pollard Smith, 91, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 22, 2019 at First Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Chambers Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ryan Jay, Shunnard Blevins, Mason Griffin, Rahmon Malone, Jaykri Simpson and Jordan Simpson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kwesi Pollard, Damon Pollard, Baylan Mozon, Willie Scott III, Jay Scott and Terry Conerway. Willie Pollard Smith passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 in Cleburne. She was born on December 16, 1927 in Kopperl to Clyde and Ora Lee (Holloway) Pollard. She married George A. Smith in Cleburne. She was a member of St. Paul C.M.E., where she served for over 50 years. Willie is survived by her children, Bobby Pollard Sr. of Cleburne, William Pollard of Fort Worth, Phyllis Wheaton and husband Michael of Cleburne, Brantley Smith, Sr. of Cleburne, Al Smith Jr. of Cleburne; 20 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren and 32 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Ellis Fuller, Jr. and wife Lucille of Tyler and Oscar C. Pollard of DeSoto; sisters, Ora Lee Shipman of Cleburne, Emily Jay of Richmond, Gladys Blevins of Cleburne and Debra Pollard-Jammer of Dallas; cousin Faye Clay of Cleburne; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Willie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, George A. Smith, brother, Frank Pollard, Sr., sisters Helen Armason, Beatrice Maddox, Laura Armstrong, Christine Jackson, Iwilla Hobart, Wanda Jean Fuller, Joanna Fuller and daughter Peggy Jay Scott.
