Mrs. Cleo Herndon, 97, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2019 after a long illness at Country Meadows Nursing Home. She was born on February 20, 1922 in Navarro County to John Thomas Capehart and Mary E. Byrd Capehart. She was always thankful for the nurses’ friendships she had at Country Meadows and the loving care of Mercy Hospice. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmy Fry and Bobby Herndon; her parents; her brothers, Orval, Otis, Jimmie D, Marvin and John Elvyn and; her sister, Cloie. She is survived by her sister, Hazel Capehart; her grandson, Michael Clancy and wife Terri and their son, Jake; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Country Meadows Nursing Home at 2:00 P.M. with James Inmon officiating.
