Fausto Gonzalez Cervantes was born on September 20, 1960 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Maria Gertrudis Cervantes and Espedito Gonzalez. Fausto, beloved husband and father passed on to a better life on June 11, 2020 at the age of 59 in his home. Fausto immigrated to the US in the early 1980s and later immigrated his wife and 5 children in 1995. Fausto always did his best to provide for his family and always achieved this. Fausto’s wife and children remember him as the most strong, humble, hardworking, forgiving, and honorable person they knew. Fausto is preceded in death by his father, Espedito Gonzalez. He is survived by his wife, Maria Irene Gonzalez; mother, Maria Gertrudis Cervantes; 7 children, Blanca, Lorena, Amalia, Fausto, Alma, Gloria and Guadalupe Gonzalez, and 13 grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be on Monday, June 15, 2020 from 6:00-7:00 PM and Rosary from 7:00-8:00 PM at Corley Funeral Home. The Mass will be on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 3000 E State Hwy 22, Corsicana, Texas with Father Marco Rangel officiating. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Fausto Gonzalez Jr, Guadalupe Gonzalez, David Bailon, Jose Lopez, Juan Ramon Rodriguez, Omar Eduardo Rodriguez and Saul Rodriguez.
