Mr. Windell Sykes, Jr., age 64, of Corsicana, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Epic Nursing and Rehab. He was born October 14, 1955 to Windell Sykes and Gretchen Voigt Sykes. Mr. Windell Sykes, Jr. was a Vietnam Era veteran with the security forces assigned to Nuclear Missiles. It is with great sadness that the family of Windell Sykes Jr., announce his peaceful passing. He was loved and respected by everyone that knew him. If you needed his help he was there for you. He loved his children and they came first in his life. One of Windells favorite pastime was riding his Harley Davidson and cruising in his 1955 Ford. He was the type of person who would show up at your house just to say hi and see how you were doing. Mr. Sykes was known for never saying a bad word about anyone. He will be missed by all. Windell is now riding free! Mr. Sykes is survived by his children, Dalton Sykes, Brandie Sykes; grandchildren, Levi and Lola; mother, Gretchen Sykes; sisters, Barbara Doherty and husband Tom, Shirley Denisha; brothers, James W. Sykes and wife Tami, Robert Sykes and wife Rosemary, Todd Sykes and wife Rhonda, and numerous nieces and nephews. There are no services scheduled at this time.
