Brijido Esparza

Brijido Esparza Jr., age 67, passed away on the morning of February 7, 2020. Brijido was born in Iraan, Texas to Brijido and Catarina Esparza. He spent most of his life living in Rankin, Texas where he was cared for by his grandparents, Bartolo and Jesusita Esparza and by his mom and dad. He was recently residing in Odessa, Texas at the Madison Resort Nursing home. Brijido was known for his fun-loving personality. He loved all kinds of music, being around family, and he loved watching his favorite teams, the Rankin Red Devils, Crane Golden Cranes, and the Dallas Cowboys. Brijido was preceded in death by his mother, Catarina Esparza. He is survived by his father, Brijido Esparza Sr., of Odessa; Siblings: Yolanda Abalos and her husband Rosendo Abalos of Odessa, Naldo Esparza, and his wife Leigh Anne of San Angelo. Brijido also had many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at the Park Building in Rankin with burial to follow in the Rankin Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
