Isidra Rodriguez Crane, Texas Obituary

Isidra Rodriguez

Isidra A Rodriguez, 70 of McCamey, TX, passed away on July 30, 2019 in McCamey. Isidra was born on May 15, 1949 in Alamos de Marquez, Coahuila Mexico to Luis and Leandra Alonzo. Isidra was best known for her famous tamales (unfortunately neither of her daughters inherited that talent), her faith in God, and her infinite love for all her family. She was an exemplary wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. Her favorite hobby was gardening, taking care of her grand babies, and garage sales, (our sister Delia inherited that same garage sale passion). Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she made tamales for and interacted with. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Catarino Rodriguez of McCamey, TX ; Her 4 daughters, Vicky Ashmore of McCamey, TX, Ilda Lujan husband Tommy Lujan of McCamey, TX, Delia Carrasco husband Jaime Carrasco of Midland, TX and Diana Rodriguez of McCamey, TX along with her grandchildren Joshua, Jazmine, Jaye, Miguel, Nikolas, Lilian, Leila, Leah, Anaid, Maraley, Yaneli and two great grandchildren Eliana and Zavian. She is also survived by her mother Leandra Alonzo, brothers Tiburcio Alonzo, Aristeo Alonzo, Eulalio Alonzo and sister Emilia Huerta. She was preceded in death by her father Luis Alonzo and brother Arturo Alonzo.
