Maria Flores

Maria Flores “Chacha”, 65, of McCamey, Texas, went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2019. Maria was born on February 17, 1954, in Muzquiz, Coahuila to Gilberto Guerrero and Francisca Gutierrez. Maria was one of eight siblings. She was preceded in death by both parents and two of her siblings. She is survived by her two sons, Martin Bustos, Jr., and Gilberto Bustos, and her daughter Monica Bustos. Grandchildren Tavian Bustos, Trysten Bustos, Tavery Bustos, Keegan Senegal, and Kynleigh Forge. Maria was a loving, devotional mother and grandmother. She was the happiest when spending time with her grandkids. She took pride in doing little things for them and always doing it with lots of love. Maria was known for her kind heart and great personality. She greeted everyone with her contagious smile-sometimes cheesy smile or even her silly pose. Maria never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. She will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who knew her. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm with Rosary being held at 7:00 pm. A short service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at 10:00 am followed by cremation services as this was Maria’s wish. All services will be held at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in McCamey. It was Maria’s wish that in lieu of wearing black that bright colors be worn to honor her memory.
