Warren Bailey

Warren Dean Bailey, 88, of Rising Star, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 14, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ in Rising Star, Texas with Terry Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Rising Star Cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation Friday, September 13 from 5:30-8:00 pm at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Cross Plains, Texas. Dean was born September 27, 1930 in Rising Star, Texas to the Late Anderson Warren and Ruby Inez Nunnally-Bailey. Warren married Jeannie Jacobs in Rising Star, Texas on June 19, 1949, who preceded him on February 5, 2014. Warren was the Manager of Pioneer Farmers Co-op for many years. He was a member of the Church of Christ and served as an Elder in the church. Dean was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Jeannine Bailey; parents, Anderson Warren and Ruby Inez Nunnally-Bailey. Dean is survived by his children, Brenda Jan Goldston and her husband, Dick of Rising Star; Warren David Bailey of Vancouver, Washington; two grandchildren, Chad Goldston and his wife, Annissa; Kevin Goldston and his wife, Dana; 7 great grandchildren, Mia Goldston, Ryan Goldston, Tanner Goldston, Justin Goldston, Garrett Judd, Evan Judd, and Jacee Judd.
