James Cantrell, age 63, of Earth, Texas died Saturday, April 1, 2017 in Littlefield. He was born September 24, 1953 in Olton, Texas to Vearnie Earl and Claudia Mae (Crossland) Cantrell. James was a long time employee of the City of Earth. He was also a song writer, and loved wood crafting and reading his Bible. James is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Pansy Scott and Patsy Gilmore; and a brother, Billy Cantrell. James is survived by his seven sisters, Louise Fulenwider of Forney, Texas; Ruby Fulenwider of Springlake, Texas, Gloria French and her husband, Johnny of Gray, Texas, Linda Bishop and her husband, Bill of Conway, Arkansas, Renda Bailey of Springlake, Texas, Nancy Cantrell of Earth, Texas and Peggy Alvarado of Forney, Texas; his three brothers, Rudy Cantrell and his wife, Lois of Plainview, Texas, Gene Cantrell and his wife, Paula of Amherst, Texas and Ronnie Cantrell of Tucumcari, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.
