Jeannine "Jerry" Applegate Hinchliffe died Monday, December 11, 2017 in Lubbock. She was born March 11, 1929 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Claibe and Lula (Brannon) Applegate. She married Norman Hinchliffe in Hamilton, Texas on July 19, 1952. Jerry graduated from Hamilton High School in 1946, and was a member of the Hamilton National Honor Society. She worked in the County Clerk’s office in Hempstead, Texas; the ASCS office in Livingston; the Earth bank; Springlake-Earth Schools; and Earth Ag Supply. Jerry was a member of the Earth United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman in 2014; her parents; and two brothers, Bill Applegate and J.R. Applegate. Jerry is survived by her two sons, David Hinchliffe of Sundown, Texas and Jason Hinchliffe and his wife, Jennifer of Amarillo, Texas; her two daughters, Karen Hinchliffe of Dallas, Texas and Camille Gilliam and her husband, Rick of Lubbock, Texas; and four grandchildren, Alexander Gilliam, Alex Clark, Megan Clark and Zach Clark.
